Tennessee Doulas Association is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate people about doulas and promote the use of doula care to improve pregnancy, birth, and postpartum outcomes.

Hire a Professional Doula (doo-luh)

A doula is a trained professional who educates and supports women before, during, and after childbirth. Doulas teach self care, partner support, labor techniques, breastfeeding, and more.

Doulas don't deliver babies. That is the job of your doctor or midwife.

March Service Project

This month we decided to put our effort into assisting Sunnyside Up Youth who support pregnant moms aged 13 to 25. We assisted them with a diaper drive last fall and decided to reach out and help again. They asked for help collecting formula for moms in need. We reached out to the community and they were very generous. Thank you for all the people who gave formula! We can't do this without your generous hearts! Let's keep lifting one another.
