Count The Kicks Webinar

We are excited to announce the upcoming Count the Kicks Launch Webinar on Tuesday, September 17^th from 10:30 – 11:30 AM CT. As part of our continued efforts to improve maternal and infant health outcomes across Tennessee, the Tennessee Department of Health has partnered with Count the Kicks, an evidence-based stillbirth prevention program.

Count the Kicks educates expectant parents on the importance of monitoring baby movements during the third trimester. Research has shown that nearly 30% of stillbirths can be prevented when parents are aware of changes in their baby’s movement patterns and take immediate action by contacting their healthcare provider.

This webinar is a vital opportunity to spread awareness and equip maternal health providers, doulas, community health workers, social service agencies, and other stakeholders (including doulas, WIC, EBHV, and lactation specialists) with the knowledge and tools to promote the initiative.
